1. Make 'Astrolab'.
2. Intro to Observing assignments:
A) View Orion one evening. Draw relative to a fixed point on the ground. Draw Orion again 30 mins. to 2 (or more) hours later. Use Astrolab to include angle of "height" in the sky.
B) Moon viewing activity: Beginning with the next clear night, draw the shape and position of the moon relative to a fixed point on the ground at the same time each night for 5 nights. If you start in the next few days, you will want to look before 7pm.
