In class - Look at various objects under the microscope (hair, berries, leaves, goldfish scale, dragonfly wing etc.). Practice determining the Field Diameter.
SNC 3M
1. Lesson/Note: Dietary Fibre
2. Use molecule model kits to build either an amino acid, glycerol, or a fatty acid (mono- or poly-unsaturated, or saturated). Then, join with others to build into a fat molecule or an amino acid chain (portion of a protein).
3. Intro to Internet Nutrition Assignment. We will work on this in class the next 3 days. Due: Friday November 7th.
SNC 1P
1. Practice determining the formula of an ionic compound using Lewis-Dot diagrams on the Smartboard.
2. Chemistry test review. Chemistry Unit Test tomorrow!
