1. Assigned work (due Tuesday):
Read 6.3, 6.4, & 6.5 
Do p. 223#1-4, p.227#1-5, p.229#1-7
2.  Movie: Chemical Reactions. 

PSE4U              
1. Thoroughly read p. 40-42 in the hardcover textbook and write a 1 page summary / note titled “Sliding Filament Theory of Muscle Contraction”
2. Continue working on past assigned worksheets and/or work on memorizing names of bones and muscles.

MCF3M          
1. Read 1.4 ‘Stretches of Functions’ (p. 31-37) and make a summary 'note'.
You should include the following ideas as well as sketches:
- Start with the table of values and graph of y = x2
- For a quadratic function ax2 + bx + c
if a > 1 the result is a vertical stretch of y = x2
if  0 < a < 1 (a is between 0 and 1) the result is a vertical compression of  y = x2
if a is a negative number, the result is a reflection of y = x2 in the x-axis
(One way to make this note is to copy the Key Concepts on p. 37)

2. Assigned work (due Tuesday): Do p. 37 C2(Communicate Your Understanding) & p. 38 # 1-8.
