SNC 1D
1. Movie & Worksheet: Starlight.
2. Demonstration: Parallax (the apparent change in position of an object based on a change in position of the observer). The largest baseline for using parallax and triangulation from Earth is 2AU.
3. Lesson/Note: Doppler Effect and Redshift. How the spectral pattern observed from stars and galaxies shows that they are moving apart from each other and therefore the universe is expanding.
4. Assigned work: Read p. 503-512, do p. 512 #1,2

2. Lesson: How to use dewpoint and temperature data to determine areas of high humidity on maps 3 & 6.
