3. Assigned work (due tomorrow): Read 5.5, do p. 177 # 1-7.

1. Graphing Assignment: Find 3 graphical displays in media (newspaper, magazine, internet etc).
For each,
a) determine "what's the message?" of the graph ... what is it trying to display?
b) answer: does it convey this message well?
Be prepared to present this briefly to the class & hand in your best of the 3. Due Wednesday.
2. Intro to Excel assignment in the computer lab. To be submitted electronically tomorrow.
