1. Lesson: Problem Solving - Work through #1-5 on Worksheet #5 using this technique.
- Make a list of "givens" with proper units & symbols.
- Write down the correct symbol of the "unknown".
- Make sure all units (& directions) in list match. If not, do necessary conversions (ex: min to hours, etc).
- Use the list to choose a formula.
- Substitute numbers into the formula.
- Solve.
- Write a therefore statement.
