1. Worksheet: Planet data, including definitions: Astronomical Unit (AU), (Orbital) Period
2. Bill Nye movie (with movie sheet): Planets.
3. Introduction to Moon Viewing Project. Observe the Moon from the same location at the same time each day for 7 days. (9pm starting this Thursday or Friday will work well). Draw its shape and location relative to some object on the ground (tree, building etc.). Use your "Astrolab" to record the height of the moon in the sky by measuring the angle between the moon and the horizon.
4. Assigned work (due Friday): Read p. 443-445 & p. 448-456. Do p. 456#1-6
