1. Lesson/Note: Current Electricity (Intro & schematic symbols).
2. 10 min. movie: Current Electricity.
3. Complete activity started yesterday: Building & Drawing Electrical Circuits and fill in corresponding worksheet (for homework draw arrows showing the direction of electron flow and name each circuit as a series circuit or a parallel circuit.
4. Complete assigned work from yesterday: Read 10.1, do p. 329 #1-5

SNC 2P
1. Lesson/Note/Handout: The Nitrogen Cycle
2. Assigned work: Read p. 30-31, do p. 31 # 1-3, 6 (time given in class - most students finished)
3. Hand in owl pellet skeleton and report tomorrow if they have not already been handed in.

SNC 2D
1. Discussion: The Carbon Cycle & Global Warming.
2. Activity: Using model kits to model photosynthesis ('build' 6 carbon dioxide molecules and 6 water molecules and then convert them into 1 molecule of glucose and 6 molecules of oxygen gas)
3. Lesson/Note: How have Humans Affected the Carbon and Nitrogen Cycles?
4. Assigned work:
Read 2.7, do p. 71 #1-5 (started to take up the answers in class)
Read 2.8, do p. 73 #1,2 (due tomorrow).
