The assignment is due January 17th. As mentioned, each student must choose a different case. To reserve your case before we return from the break, post a comment on today's post stating the name of the convicted and victim(s).
Remember, you are asked to choose a local crime. Anywhere in Canada is acceptable, but if you are looking for a topic, see the site below for a list from the Hamilton area:

Motion Unit:
First, complete all previously assigned work. (Worksheets and test review textbook questions). Plus:

p. 490-493 # 7,8,13,15-19
For any word problems, show list of givens and unknown and then the formula being used.
