2. Skinfold Assignment: Hand in with BMI/RMR assignment on Friday:
A) Do skinfold measurements at several sites on your body. Label these measurements and keep them organized.
B) Use these measurements to calculate your % body fat by at least 2 different methods (at least one chart method and at least one calculation/formula method). Be sure to label your methods (ex: "3 site method: thigh, suprailiac, tricep; % body fat found using chart") and include enough detail so anyone could follow along with what you have done.
C) Write a paragraph to comment on the Skinfold technique. Comment on: accuracy, consistency, difficulties, and your results compared to the bioelectrical impedance measurements.
Wear shorts and a t-shirt to class tomorrow!
