SNC 1D
1. Lab: Discovering the Law of Attraction & Repulsion.  Lab Report due Tuesday.
2. Work on lab questions and/or textbook work from yesterday.

SCH 3U
Neutralization Activity: 1. Take 10mL of 1M HCl.  2. Neutralize with an unknown concentration of NaOH until neutral. 3. Show the teacher that your solution is neutral.  4. Collect the NaCl.  5. Mass the NaCl.
Questions: 1. Show the balanced chemical equation.
2. Determine your % yield.
Helpful info:
1 mol of NaCl has mass 58.44g so 1L of 1M HCl can produce 58.44g NaCl.
If 1L makes 58.44 g
Then 0.010L makes x g.  (most students used 10mL = 0.010L.  If you did not, use the appropriate volume)
3. Explain some likely reasons why your % yield is not 100%.
