3. Intro to current electricity. Investigate a simple circuit. Use 2 dry cells, 2 lights and a switch to:
- make a light turn on.
- keep on light on and control the other with a switch, etc.

Three cell drawings with required math clearly showing the magnification of each drawing (using the instructions on the handout/worksheet). Remember to clearly label the numbers you use and show how you found them. Ex: "FD high is 410um, 6 cells fit across the FD by width so the width of a single cell is : 410/6 = 68.3um"
The 3 drawings are:
1. Onion cell
2. Cheek cell
3. Dividing Root tip cell; phase of mitosis must be indicated.
